Development of First World War WD 'Parrot' flat wagon. Originally intended for French military authorities, but the fall of France changed that. Modified for BAOR by Waggonfabrik Talbot of Aachen, to their G.A. diagram AZ 20080. Re-patriated in 2002 & 're-gauged' by E.G. Steele of Hamilton - TOPS diagram KF020A. For sale on March 2013 tender list. Disposed of from MoD Kineton and scrapped at Booths, Rotherham by 28/3/2013. |
