Design Code NA501. B4 bogies and air braked (from 100 mph upgrade when in mainline service). Used as storage at Toddington Yard, Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway. Then purchased privately and moved to East Lancashire Railway 11/12 for further storage. By 09/24: in static catering use at Heywood Station as 'The Whistlestop Coffee Carriage': in red livery (changed from BR InterCity) but not numbered. By 07/26: now locked up and no longer in use as a cafe. |
